Axton LOVES food! He gets so mad if I skip solids and only give him milk. However as we have continued down the road of new foods he quickly decided that peas, which were once his favorite, are pretty bland and he wants something more exciting! So I attempted to trick him by giving him a few spoonfuls of sweet potatoes and then a spoon of peas. Yeah, it didn't work as you can tell. So now I give him the foods he doesn't like first thing in the morning so he has nothing to compare it to! How quickly he forgets! He has also learned that he can reach anything on his tray so I have had to learn to put things on the table or counter when I run downstairs to help someone (don't you miss it Keri!). However when I do forget I come back to it all over the place. He loves to lick the bowl once it's all emptied out, just like his daddy!

Random Pictures

Axton loves to put everything he can into his mouth! He loves to try and grab the lines on the couches and gets a bit mad when they don't cooperate with him. He is now trying to grab the carpet and examines his hands after each try to see if has got anything! He also loves to put his hands in our mouths! He thinks it is the funniest when we try to suck his thumb or bite them!

Well, we have decided that Axton is spoiled, that or I am just tired of being his only entertainment! We decided to buy him a jumper with all the bells and whistles in hopes that it will entertain him longer than 5 minutes. He loves it so far but it still only last about 10 minutes. Hopefully it will get a little longer as he gets older and gets the hang of it.

He has also started to eat solid foods. He loves bananas and peas but is not so sure about carrots. I think they make his tummy upset since he spits them up all day long. I wasn't prepared for how nasty his clothes were going to get though. I thought once he ate aolids the spit up would stop. Boy was I in for a shocker.

Well most of you have heard, but Greg got a job offer in Henderson doing the same thing he does now, estimating steel jobs. This job is just on a much bigger scale then what he has been doing. Axton and I decided to make a paper chain to count down when we move, 54 days! He seems to think it is a new chew toy! Greg and I will be going down to Henderson to look for a place to live, if we can ever manage to get the time off! One thing I will be glad to have end! We'll keep you posted though on any changes.

Axton is learning how to sit on his own. He is really good if he is leaned a bit forward but still tends to get really excited and fall backwards. Another week or two and he should be fine. He also loves to be naked, even if he is just pantless. He has discovered his feet and constantly tries to put them in his mouth. I thought I would have awhile before I had to lok for missing socks but he has decided he likes to take them off and chew on them. He is chewing on everything these days since he has decided it is time for him to have some teeth. He has gotten in 2 bottom teeth and he hasn't learned that it hurts when he bites, breast feeding might be coming to an end if he keeps it up! Sorry we don't update our blog too often, we have gotten rid of email at our house because we never use and didn't have a great connection anyways. So now I have to go to the library or Greg's work to do everything so be patient! Also to look at the pictures in a bigger image just click on them, you can see the teeth if you do!

FIGHT!!!

Every Christmas Greg's family opens presents and once that is all done the silly string comes out! Everyone gets at least 2 cans, this year we brought 6 more for us!, and then when we are given the go ahead we all go to town. It is crazy for me to be outside in shorts and no shoes running around like it's the middle of summer! It's a blast though and a way fun tradition that we will be carrying on with our kids even if we live in the frozen tundra!

Having Fun!

Since it's just Axton and I all day I had to try and come up with things to entertain the 2 of us. SO I started doing sit ups with him on me. Every time I come up I make some kind of noise and change it up a bit so he is surprised each time. He loves this game and usually laughs a lot, until we get out the camera.

Also he is very ticklish these days. You can see him rolling onto his side to try and get away from it! Yes, he has finally decided he wants to roll over! He spends most of the time on his side but he can manage to flip to his stomach if he really wants to! We are way excited!

Also we took him swimming for the first time on Saturday and he loved it, minus the water he kept splashing in his face! We are going to try and take him swimming once a week so he gets used to since we will probably be moving to either Henderson or Phoenix and will probably have a pool at either place!

Christmas in San Diego

For Christmas we went to San Diego! The weather was amazing! It was fun to have everyone home, except Jeff who is still on his mission. The one photo is a picture of the siblings and their families. So for those of you who don'tknow them it is Brad and his wife Corina with their 2 girls Daniela and Vanessa. Then it is Kim and Josh with Brooklynn, a month older than Axton. Greg and I with Axton, then Katie and Melanie! The other picture is Greg's grandma and all of her great grandchildren. Axton for Christmas wore his pjs that Grammy bought him and then Grandma and Grandpa (Leavitt) bought him some blocks! I was so excited for them because I had been looking for something similar and couldn't find any. He's too young to play with them still but when he can we will have a blast! And last but not least is a picture of the grandkids in their Charger outfits that Grandma and Grandpa bought for them. (Axton, Vanessa, Brooklynn, and Daniela).
